The Albino Peacock

CAUTION: CONFESSIONAL LUTHERAN CROSSING

Why the Albino Peacock?

Posted by the peacock on June 2, 2007

I’m the former author of another Lutheran blog…. maybe some of you remember me?  It’s been a few months since I’ve written anything and I needed a change, thus the new place.

While I was trying to think of a name for this blog I couldn’t come up with anything.  I was looking around at some of my photos and decided to use the one of the albino peacock ~ just because it’s beautiful.  No other reason. Nope, I don’t think of myself as a rare and beautiful bird…. I just love the photo. Why do you call yourself whatever it is you call yourself?

Just curious……

    Well since you ask…

I chose Territorial Bloggings as a take-off on the Nirvana song title “Territorial Pissings”. It just sounded right (and kinda cool) to me, as I staked out my claim & set up my own little soapbox in the blogosphere. I guess it’s worked out ok, because even after almost 3 years I still like the sound of it… ;^)

I know what you mean. I picked out my blog title when I was feeling cranky, but it stuck, and if nothing else, it always describes my sinful state, even if I feel less cranky now that I have somewhere to express myself.

    So….blog on! Welcome back

RPW ~~ Thanks so much for all your input here! I don’t know… are pastor’s wives allowed to be cranky?! LOLOLOL!!! It’s an adventure, isn’t it ~ that’s what I’m finding out anyway… :)

Yes it most definitely is an adventure.

I don’t know if we are allowed to be cranky, so somedays, I just stay home…but there are times I don’t know how to be anything else but cranky.

I’m CERTAIN that *I* don’t fit the mold ~ most usually, that is… I get cranky too and then I feel sorry for my husband and then I have a Baptist Moment, which is something I will write about very soon. I PROMISE!
